The Jewel Winds will be performing in our church on Friday, June 7, at 7 p.m. Comprised of flute, clarinet, oboe and horn, Jan Bookhout is a member of this ensemble. Tina Toglia will also be playing piano with the group. Please plan to be here!

Winds and Keys returns to Grace Episcopal Church, Utica on June 7
Alliance Classical Players presents its second annual “Winds and Keys” concert at Grace Episcopal Church, Utica, on Friday evening, June 7 at 7 PM.
The concert features the quintet Jewel Winds with pianist Tina Toglia. Selections include works for winds alone, as well as with piano, such as Summer Evening by Sadoh, three pieces by Fred Onovwerosuoke, several short selections by Florence Price, Romance for Horn and Piano by Elizabeth Raum and Sextet for Piano and Winds by Louise Farrenc. The program lasts about an hour in length and there is no intermission.
Alliance Classical Players is a professional chamber music ensemble based in Rome. Jewel Winds is a longstanding quintet of players who also perform with that group, and includes Cornelia Brewster, flute; oboist Janelle Bookout; Colleen O’Neil, clarinet; bassoonist Judy Marchione; and French horn player Claire McKenney. The group collaborates frequently with pianist Tina Toglia of Utica. The concert is free and open to the public.
